Meta-design with us

Build metamaterials into your product.

We start from a product already proven in service. Four steps take it from the first measurement to the part in place.

01

Diagnose

We start by measuring. Sound probes placed around a physical sample show where the noise comes from and which frequencies carry it, and we run a first numerical simulation on that data before anything is built.

02

Meta-fit

We fit a product already proven in service to your part, rather than inventing one. Where nothing fits, we develop a new one with you from the same building blocks.

03

Industrialise

The part goes through prototyping and production tooling.

Certify and deliver at scale

It passes the tests your market requires, from rail and highway certification to the approvals data centres and carmakers ask for. We manufacture in house, then install on site or deliver ready to fit on your assembly line.

Questions

What engineers ask us first

How long does development take?

Our co-development process follows a proven framework designed to deliver a first result in as little as 3 months. When a project requires a more tailored approach beyond our existing framework, development can take up to 6 months.

Which certifications do your products carry?

Over 7 years of co-development, we have delivered more than 100 developments built on 8 core building blocks, across industries including energy, mobility, appliances and demanding industrial environments. We don't claim to know every market inside out. That's why we work closely with our partners to understand each market's specific requirements and identify the relevant certifications from the start. Our current certifications are listed on the Certifications page.

Who owns the IP on a product developed with us?

IP ownership is discussed and agreed upon during the first two phases of our collaboration, before development begins. Building on our background of 18 patent families, we are open to collaboration models that make business sense for both parties.
