This policy explains what personal data phononic-vibes.com processes, why, and what rights you have. The short version: there is no advertising and no tracking across sites. Google Analytics runs only if you accept it in the cookie banner. Otherwise we only see what any web server sees, and what you choose to send us by email.
Who we are
The data controller is Phononic Vibes S.r.l., Via Francesco Cherubini 6, 20145 Milano, Italy (VAT 10414890961).
For any question about this policy or your data, write to metainfo@phononicvibes.com.
When you visit the website
Our hosting provider automatically records technical data each time a page is requested: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser type. This is standard for any website.
We use this data only to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix technical problems. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use it to identify you or build profiles.
These logs are kept by Netlify, our hosting provider, under its data processing terms, and then deleted.
Website analytics (Google Analytics)
If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It tells us which pages are read, how long for, how visitors arrived (a search engine, another site, a link), which email buttons are clicked (the subject line and where the button sits, not what you write), and their device, browser and approximate location (country and city). Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses for visitors in the EU. A random identifier kept in cookies lets it tell visits apart.
We use these reports, which only show totals, to see which pages are useful and to improve the site. We do not use them to identify you. Google's advertising features and Google signals are switched off, and nothing is used for advertising.
The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code). Without it, Google Analytics does not load. You can withdraw consent at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page; this does not affect what was collected before. The analytics cookies last up to 13 months. Google keeps the detailed event data for 2 months and the data linked to a visitor's random identifier for 14 months, counted from that visitor's last visit. Reports that only show totals are kept longer.
When you email us
The website has no forms. If you write to us at metainfo@phononicvibes.com or any other address shown on the site, we receive your name, email address, any details in your signature, and what you write.
We use this to answer you and, if you are asking about a project, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
We keep the correspondence as long as needed to deal with your request and any business that follows, and longer only where Italian law requires us to keep commercial records. We do not add you to a mailing list.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets cookies only if you accept Google Analytics. Without your consent, the only thing stored on your device is your choice itself.
| Name | What it does | How long | When |
|---|---|---|---|
pv-consent (local storage) |
Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics | 6 months | Always; it is needed to respect your choice |
_ga |
Google Analytics: tells visits apart with a random identifier | 13 months | Only if you accept analytics |
_ga_<ID> |
Google Analytics: keeps track of the current visit | 13 months | Only if you accept analytics |
On your first visit a banner asks whether you accept analytics. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and closing the banner counts as rejecting. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page; if you withdraw, the analytics cookies are deleted. We ask again after six months.
There is no advertising, no social media tracking and no session recording. Fonts and images are served from our own site, so your browser contacts Google only after you accept analytics.
Links to other websites
The site links to partner sites. These are plain links: nothing is shared with those sites until you click. Once you do, their own privacy policies apply.
Who processes data for us
We do not sell or share your data. A few providers process it on our behalf, under contracts that bind them to our instructions and to GDPR.
| Provider | What they do | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Netlify, Inc. | Hosts the website and keeps the server logs | United States, with servers worldwide |
| Google Ireland Limited | Website analytics, only if you accept it | Ireland, with transfers to Google LLC in the United States |
| Carbonara Agency, our web agency | Maintains the website and may see server logs when fixing issues | United Kingdom (London) and Italy (Latina) |
Transfers outside the EU
Our web agency works from the United Kingdom as well as Italy; the United Kingdom is covered by a European Commission adequacy decision, so no further safeguards are needed for it. Netlify is based in the United States, and Google Analytics data may be processed by Google LLC in the United States. Transfers to both rely on their certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, as a fallback, on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses included in their data processing terms. You can ask us for a copy of the relevant safeguards.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- give you access to the data we hold about you and a copy of it
- correct it if it is wrong
- delete it, or restrict how we use it
- send it to you, or to someone else, in a common electronic format
You can also object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest, and withdraw your consent to analytics with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Write to metainfo@phononicvibes.com. The request is free and we will reply within one month.
If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or to the authority where you live or work.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the website handles personal data, for example by adding a new provider, we will update this page and the date below before the change takes effect.
